I'm thinking of using masking tape to cover the entire square behind each fret (only those already with inlays).
Or, in other words, wherever an inlay is, I cover the full area with masking tape.
Will this cause any issues with the wood?
I'm looking around for a 6-string. But I hate the look of a super-wide neck.
I currently use a 4-string and I want to have a 6-string too, and not to replace the 4-string or anything.
I can't find it online.
I'm deciding between a Peavey Zephyr 4 string (which is great) or getting a 6 string, and I think the MusicMan basses will be great. I will be completely sure when I get to try out the Bongo.
But do they D̶j̶e̶n̶t̶ come in thinner spacing yet?
The one at my local store seems to be a newer model, with inlays in the middle and a lighter mahogany.
The bridge just looks like a bunch of tangled slinkys though.
Maybe because it's pre-owned.
Probably a good idea actually.
There's a Musicman sub, and I wanna upgrade from my squier p-bass.
Any other lower priced options out there?
I know the Ibanez and Dean stuff can go for pretty cheap.
