Yep.
Painter's tape is much better for masking than masking tape. It's designed to not leave residue behind and peels off easily.
I'm thinking of using masking tape to cover the entire square behind each fret (only those already with inlays).
Or, in other words, wherever an inlay is, I cover the full area with masking tape.
Will this cause any issues with the wood?
