What if I put a 4ohm speaker in the cab and run the head at 2Ohms? Does that make sense? Or else, what if I decide that a 410+115 combo is a good option, how should I choose my cabs then?

Why so? And even if it's not a good idea, then I could use the 115 on its own in the beginning before I buy something to put on top of it?

Oh BTW... We have an old Peavey 115 BX cab where the speaker has farted out. I could buy a good 15 inch speaker and use it along with the 810. What speaker would you recommend? Is it even worth the effort?

I think so too. I guess I'll buy a good amp first and use my mate's 810 for the time being. I guess that's the best solution. And I'll give the SVt2 and AD200 a try to see which type of sound I prefer more.

I've just listened to a few demo's on YT... Sounds f** killer. It's not as vintage as a Classic but has that tube warmth. Thanks for the suggestion ;)
