    @LowEndLobster How much increase in cost would it be for them to be true humbuckers? I feel like they would know the price and question how they're getting them so cheap. And even if it was higher, I'm sure lots of people would gladly pay $400 for this bass. Is $300 some optimal price point?

    Has Gretsch been lying to us for over a decade?

    I recently bought this bass because I thought it had humbuckers. The hum is evident, so I'm assuming I have the same single coils. This is disappointing. I hope Fender and Gretsch respond in some way. Thank you for uncovering this problem.
