I've looked around and there seems to be no valuable info on mods for this pedal. Some info on the moded guitar Soul Food but still not much. JHS is no longer doing theirs and can't find a schematic to do it myself. Alchemy's mod seems too simple by adding just two diodes. Monte Allums' seems...

I knew somebody would say that. ;) As I said before, my teacher likes my Squier as much as his Deluxe American Jazz. I am pretty damn happy with it. :D I ordered a J set on Amazon today. Pretty sure it will make it even better. BTW your avatar is my desktop wallpaper! :)

I meant because of their year, they must be different by now. :) Anyways I think the way to go would be either the J or the JCS. I guess I'll have to read about both a lot to find the clear differences in their sound OR buy one and then get the other and sell the one I like the least.. but...

I always change my strings when they lose their brightness. But are those JCS a good pick or should I look at other models from EMG? I messaged the guy of the 2 string slap video asking about his pickups and he just answered he uses EMG. So I'm pretty much sold on EMG, just not sure on...

I use DR stainless Fat-Beams beacause of their brightness but they don't stay THAT bright for long. I guess I could scoop out the mids and it would sound great but I need my mids to cut through when playing at a gig. :hmm: Can you elaborate on "changing the value of your tone cap"? I don't...
