Thanks for the reply, they don't have exposed poles as they are the emg pickups, p/j config. So I think they are sealed.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm thinking of buying used so not to concerned about waranty. Where would I find instructions for this conversion??

So does that mean it can be done? Do I have to open it up and physically flick a switch? Can I do this or should I take to an electrician and also does the fuse need replacing. Thanks for the responses guys and it looks promising!!

Hi Guys, I live in Aus. and am thinking of picking up one of these heads from the U.S. (They are alot more over here). Anyway was wondering if anyone knows about the power supply and if it is unversal. We are 240v here. Or are they made for specific countries?
