AMEB is easy, but I not that much of a qualification.

I've been doing UNE online. It has a lot of classical stuff....and ethnomusicology, (I play jazz). You have to source ensembles to conduct etc. It's a good course but has many difficulties, for me personally.

Anyone out there got good ideas on how to unobtrusively attach a small pre-amp with belt clip (K&K Pure) to a double bass so that it is reachable whilst playing and won't damage it? I previously attached my Fishman to a bow quiver which was OK. I just don't like having it on my belt much...

The drums and bass for this song were recorded live in the studio and were not edited. The clip features scenes from SKINS. Check out the sweet, understated Hammond organ at the end of the tune.

At the risk of repeating a question that's been answered already... Anyone out there got suggestions of which med freqs to cut so that bass isn't muddied up by the drums, distorted guitar, keys etc. I've noticed that what sounds beautiful solo, sounds like crap when in a live band situation...

Had a gig with an 'all star revue' backing five established artists. We were expecting good turn outs...but on the first night we almost outnumbered the crowd. It was so freaking weird, until we realised they had the wrong dates on the posters :rollno: Second night was great though :cool:
