I know I'm coming in late, but i actually bought on of these a year ago, it doesnt have the second thumbrest, the shiny knobs or the ashtray though, im glad to see i don't have the only one on earth!....ok maybe not i'll put up some pics of mine later if you want me to.

@TRichardsbass: it's a true hollowbody, solid front and back, no control cover, to get to the electronics you'd have to fish them out through the hole of the pickup. @DanB It seems to have the right shape for a russian bass, The neck is not very wide and stays the same width the whole length...
