I guess Mark Sandman used the slide guitar nut extender to raise the nut height. Usually nut extenders are made of brass. I made the one from scratch. There also a bar type string tree on headstock which keeps the strings from jumping around.

That's way how they do it. I have that switch but have no instructions how cables must be soldered with standard PJ. So there is no error.
