I play whatever I want and call it jazz.

I have one song where I use my 24th fret. Bassline starts on the twelfth fret on the d string and fits melodically behind weird jazzy guitar chords. Second time I play that section I bring it the whole way up. However, I’d go down to 20 in a second if it would get rid of my neckdive.

Reading through this thread, I realised I have quite a nice chunk of bog oak down in my shed. Completely back the whole way through, and very hard.... tempted to make a neck.

So... I just began an experiment that’s gonna use the pickup, so I guess this one’ll be put off for a while.

I also have a record to make the pickguard from, some bone blanks for a better nut, and an assortment of random screws which may find there way onto this creation.
