i want both: using the mic-signal for the stage for myself and only give the mic-signal to FOH (not the pick up signal because a lot of live-mixing-guys can not deal with it well enough) so the mic-signal will be always the "master-signal" the pick-up-signal would be only used as emergency-signal

Can anyone recommend a wiring setting for the EA Doubler? The manual of the doubler says: Power: 550 watts RMS@4 ohms, 550 watts RMS@2 ohms, 350 watts RMS@8 ohms I have two LF-Drivers (Eminence BP102) and two tweeters (Eminence APT80) I figured out 3 possibilities. Which one would be the best?

I think i will go for the IAmp doubler. Gary from EA will modify an amp, so that channel two (mic channel) goes to the DI out. So i can send only the mic sound to the FOH. (and i will sell the hypex audio modul, wich is nice but...) the EA doubler looks more attractive for me.

The EA doubler looks really nice and can also be used as a preamp too. How is the vent on the back? Does it blow loud?

jeffbonny, that's a really nice idea! And for live situation i don't need to add the highest low end gear, it can be moderat on price...

thanks for your responds, it's great to talk with people who know what they are talking about. :) @ Ric The idea of the yellow blender is quite good and the preamp and the signal-processing is also high quality. But there are this points that IMO have to be improved. I will use it for now...
