    Tried 5006 with that custom Barts. Although Bartolini makes a lot of very different sounding pickups, the ones on 5006 definitely sound very much Bartolini: deep lows and low-mids, subdued high-mids, hi-fi highs.

    I use 3sigma Agu 810 IR for like 95% of tones. Sometimes that's all that's needed, sometimes I add LA-2A comp, sometimes I add B-15 or 360 or 400+. For most of amp models, I've found it's really worth tweaking Sag and Bias X, in addition to normal controls. As for Olympic tones, 400+ might be...
