Indeed it was a defective set. Guitar center gladly exchanged them with no hassel. props to them. Thanks for all the coments and suggestions!

that eqipment I do not have... Im hoping that I can exchange them............... But wanted some evidence :D I will see if I can stop at the local repair shop to get it tested...

I even tried reversing the wires. and refered back to the manufactors specs. nothing different. And the wiring is fine because the stock ones work without issue. Is there fault in the Pickup? that is my question.

I personaly go through youtube all the time and watch "bass covers" rather than go straight to tabs(most of the time). Im more of a visual learner I geuss. I think that would be a cool idea. plus techinque between different players is shown, any tricks and stuff that tabs cant show. I'd say tabs...
