Okay... I chickened out and played my four-string. I was still occasionally making the "Oh no! That's not an E string!" mistake and I didn't want to risk doing that on a gig. September 16 is the next outing and I will definitely play the TR5 for three sets at that one. (Gallery Cabaret in Chicago)

Had it for about three weeks now. TR5, SN 050. Lightest and easiest-playing bass I own. More important — this is the sound I've always heard in my head! In love with it. First club date? September 3.
