Tried to find existing threads on this topic, couldn't find any. So here we go... I tried a linear tone pot in my bass, but it acts like an audio taper. Absolutely NOTHING changes until the last 20% or so of the rotation. This is precisely what I was trying to improve by using a linear tone...

Thanks for the reply! Wasnex is right, it's not THAT heavy. I added a 115 to an Eden 210 combo once. It was incredible, a whole new instrument. I may resume my abandoned search for a Contour 115 ext cab. Thanks!
