Looks very cool. The clean boost sounds right to me, but is the "Grit" boost any good for bass? Or is it better on guitar? Just curious...

Hi all - Ongoing project here. I need new tuners for my MIJ Jazz Bass. It's proving hard to find the correct - or at least similar hardware. The old tuners are sort of slipping, sort of loose. I'd just love to get my hands on new machines... So...I was going to go with either Hipshot...

Hi all - I'm looking forward to getting an Ultra-Jazz Dimarzio Set of pickups for my J-Bass Fretless (oh boy oh oh boy!). Q: I was wondering if I had to swap out the Volume & Tone Pots (250K) to other pots with a higher capacitance, since the new pickups are higher output/humbucking...

I'm using guages 105, 85, 70, 50 - I like that range, feels good for finger-style here, but I guess I could go one lighter, and see if that works out. I hope I just don't have a bad piece of wood. Bummer!

I know if you keep workin' the wood (doesn't that sound wrong?) - i.e.: tweaking the truss rod, re-stringing, etc. EVENTUALLY it should settle in. But this one's been a particular challenge. I'm bummed! :o

Anyone else with this problem? I have a 4 year old Geddy Lee Jazz Bass, MIJ, and it sounds great (bright, punchy, and I love that) ...BUT... The neck won't settle in. I've had to adjust the truss rod multiple times because it goes into bow-and-arrow mode after a few months. Anyone...
