I checked it with a multimeter and it said "1". Most people say that theirs read "0", so I'm wondering if I should be concerned.

Many people on TB say that's the case, but the only reason I would've gotten slug tape is if my local Home Depot had it (a.k.a. convenience). But since they didn't I figured buying conductive adhesive online would be just as easy as ordering slug tape and I might as well just go with the safer...

Yes. Based on your thread (which I read before it was posted here) I would say that shielding should fix my problems. I only plan on using the tape because I don't have a soldering iron readily available anytime soon. With the copper tape I should just be able to run a strip up the sidewall to...
