    Hi all I have recently acquired through ebay some active P type EMG pick ups, they come with volume and tone pots only (as well as the battery clips, and obviously the pickups themsleves) will it work as it is or do i need to get a pre amp as well? :bassist:

    Hi All, I'm having a bit of problem with getting the full range of my bass to cut through playing live (root notes up to 5th come across fine, melodic fills not so much..) I use a Fender precision with maple neck and a violin pick up and SG bass pick up added going straight into a trace...

    Upgrade Bridge PUP for SG bass?

    hey guys, I've recently acquired a modified fender precision with a SG PUP added to the bridge position. However, im not massively keen on the tone of it and was wondering if anyone knew of any decent standard replacements that dont required a re-route of the body? ta in advance :bassist:
