Twin sisters: a Squier Precision and a Fender Jazz, early JV, both necks are from Dec. '82.

Hi, I've got a Fender JV 62 Jazz Bass (neck from dec. 1982) and as you can see on the pics, the stock electronics has obviously been changed: pots are cheap small-size 500K pots (marked JS A500KΩ) and I have no clue what the red capacitor is. So I'm thinking about replacing the entire harness...

2 sisters reunited after 40 years. A Squier Pbass and a Fender Jazz, both are JVs with necks from December 1982.
