This is an Epiphone EB-3. That's the strange thing about it. Gibson made SHALLER tuners but they had GIBSON engraved on it. This is an Epiphone with SCHALLER engraved and it is black. Here is what I found

2 Pickups. It's a EB-3.Humbucker right up against the neck, the way its supposed to be. Solid headstock. Black 3 point bridge. What puzzles me is the Tuning pegs engraved " SCHALLER" and the color black. Any clue? Thanx

I hope not. I got it from a store through Reverb and it was pretty much stripped down. From what I learned was that they wanted to do a refinish but then decided not to do it and offed it. No idea why the serial # was sanded.

I promise that I will do that as soon as my rig looks like the way its supposed to.:)
