i just bought one of these too. I absolutely love it. I was under $1000, it plays and sounds incredible, and as far as I know, there isn't a Gibson Les Paul Custom bass, so this may be as close as you can get. I've seen them in white as well. Having 24 frets is fun, first bass I've owned that...
