Greco EGB-850 Les Paul

Thoughts?! Tone?! Been looking at some gibson lp basses and came across one of these and they look a bit cooler imo. What are your impressions?

That thing is a beauty. Greco made some killer basses. I wouldn't be surprised if it plays better than an actual Gibson.
Right? It's also got 24 frets from what it looks like, which is a huge plus for me at least. 2-4 hundred cheaper than gib too. I'm going for a specific sound, so I'm trying to figure out what others use theirs for.
Dumb wanker from Japan that I purchased from said he could get it to me packed right. Dumb mf did not put enough packing for a guitar in a case. Took a big bump on the front and the back. Structure of the guitar is still good but has some bruises. It is made as well as any gibson historic l have ever owned or played. I'm gonna need to put some foams under the strings because it rings for days. It is a powerful box with big big tone. I absolutely love it. The guy said to send it back and he would refund my money. I said hell no you are gonna send me some money to fix it. I won't ever sell it. I will take some picts after I get it repaired. And just to boot it only weighs 9 lbs. Light for any les paul. And it also has Brazilian wood on the fretboard. Looks identical to my 60 es335 gibson.
i just bought one of these too. I absolutely love it. I was under $1000, it plays and sounds incredible, and as far as I know, there isn't a Gibson Les Paul Custom bass, so this may be as close as you can get. I've seen them in white as well. Having 24 frets is fun, first bass I've owned that has that.

Questions for you, owners:
- Please tell of your experience with the short scale. Have you played other SSs? How does it feel for a shorty? I've had some that played really short and others that I found surprisingly deceptive, meaning they sat on me more like a medium scale. Also, I have been looking for a nice LP bass for a long while, but the full-scale Gibson and Epiphone versions just feel odd. Long, stretched neck and funky balance issues.
- How about experience with the weight? I understand many of these 90's models to be 10-11.5lbs.
- Neck profile?
- Has anyone had to buy a hardshell case? What does it fit?
