Has anyone ever modified their EBMM bass with an bridge cover similar to a P-bass? I much prefer muting from above the strings rather than from below and think it would be possible to attach it using the two allen bolts already on the bridge.

Looks kinda like your bridge screws from the E & A strings are the wrong length too. They shouldn't interfere with the mutes.

I have been looking for some 79 pickups with the exposed magnets. I think the Volume Pot on the Sabre Classic is mounted directly to the circuit board which makes swapping for a different value kinda difficult. If I remember correctly it's also placed after the preamp, so I don't think changing...

Getting my Sabre Classic all cleaned up for gigs this weekend. Love this bass more than I thought I would.

I use TI flats on all my basses & most of my guitars. They sound and feel great on my Sabre, though I really love the sound of rounds on that bass too. I wish I had 2 of them !

I'm not sure if it does that automatically. Again thanks for your help. Going to stop worrying about what it looks like on a scope & just play a few gigs with it this weekend! That'll be a better test. It definitely sounds great at bedroom level with my Sabre.
