So when i order the new pot how do i change it? im assuming you just cut the wires right nixt to it and solder to the new one.

I got the shaft out the knob, but it doesnt go all the way in the hole still. it snaps in place? so i should i just push it in there hard?

While trying to remove the knobs on my bass, the what i think is the shaft of the potentiometer came out with the knob. Is this bad? can i fix it? its the little metal piece that turns thats left there when your knob comes off
