Help! Pot problem

P-Bass diagram.GIF

is this a good diagram?

all right the person sodering it for me got pissed cause lack of information "unsoder and resoder it" so is there a way there could be a in depth explanation?
find someone else to "re-soder" it.

this is really simple to do, so i wouldn't trust anybody who didn't know how to replace a pot with my guitar.

Wish I would have noticed this thread sooner. This exact same thing happened to me on my Peavey Rudy Sarzo signature when I was replacing the output jack. I simply applied some superglue to the end of the knob shaft, placed it back into the pot, and have had no problems since!:bassist:
