Help! Pot problem

LOL! From the thread title I thought a band member must be playing bad when he got loaded. I had a drummer like that so during breaks we wouldn't pass him the joint or pipe. This was in the 70's & I long since have quit.

First off, the word is spelled "BREAK" not "BRAKE". Brakes are what stops your car!

I got the shaft out the knob, but it doesnt go all the way in the hole still.
it snaps in place? so i should i just push it in there hard?

this is getting into double entendre territory...

all right the person sodering it for me got pissed cause lack of information "unsoder and resoder it" so is there a way there could be a in depth explanation?

find someone else to "re-soder" it.

this is really simple to do, so i wouldn't trust anybody who didn't know how to replace a pot with my guitar.

Wish I would have noticed this thread sooner. This exact same thing happened to me on my Peavey Rudy Sarzo signature when I was replacing the output jack. I simply applied some superglue to the end of the knob shaft, placed it back into the pot, and have had no problems since!
