SOLD MusicMan Sterling HS USA Made

Being a canadian, I have no idea where to find US customs info, but I would suppose that it would have something to do with the claimed value of the item. Send me a DM to discuss more if you are serious.

SOLD MusicMan Sterling HS USA Made

I'm selling my 2006 USA made MusicMan Sterling HS bass. This is not to be confused with the indonesian made Sterling by MusicMan knockoffs. This Bass plays like butter and has the ability to sound like pretty much anything you like. But what it does best is PUNCH!. It cuts through like a...

    SOLD Yamaha Silent SLB200

I'm selling my Yamaha SLB200 Electric Upright Bass. This is a hard to find instrument that has seen little gig time. It sounds great, it playes great pizz and arco, and it breaks down to fit in a gig bag about the size of a bass guitar case. This Bass is very cool! The closest you can get to...

Double Bass String Recommendation Gamut Lyons and ???

I like the Red Diamonds almost as much as the Lyon/Pistoy. Just not the best for arco. Also I've decided that I'm a Thomastik guy and that I should share the spoils of my string rabit hole instead of dusting them off from time to time for a walk down memory lane so to speak.

Double Bass String Recommendation Gamut Lyons and ???

Buy My Gamut GDA and use your slap E! You'll probably like how they work together. If not you can always get a wound gamut E and you'll save a bundle.

Double Bass Yamahiko: Single sensor too hot!

Here's a link to the manufacturers page. Hes a small business guy and I have no business relationship with him at all aside from the fact that I bought one of his products. There are other products that will do the same thing, but I've never tried one. I hope this works out for you! HPF-Pre...

Double Bass Yamahiko: Single sensor too hot!

by "Also cutting the ULows" I mean the HPF. it's on a pot so you can easily set and change on the fly where the Ulows get filtered out. This can generally clear up your sound I find by saving your amp processing unnecessary frequencies which can choke your signal and cause it to OD earlier.

Double Bass Yamahiko: Single sensor too hot!

It will add a gain stage and will raise your impedance which is generaly benificial. The pot doesn't have detents so its a smooth curve. IME I set the gain on my amp to where I am accustomed and then I back off the the vol pot on the F-Deck to a point just before I get the OD light flicker on my...

Double Bass Yamahiko: Single sensor too hot!

I ran into the same thing, get an F-deck HPF buffer. It has a vol pot, its a good solution to several common problems, and wont break the bank.

Double Bass Amplified Double Bass Jazz Tone - Help!

I had a sound clip for about a year before I broke down and had adjusters installed in my bridge to allow for a FC. My experience with the SC was that you must dampen the contacts with rubber. I used a layer of rubber from a bicycle innertube. Possition the clip as close to the body as possible...
