My good friend needs to liquidate his bass collection due to health and I cannot find anything on this bass. It is similar to the Adam Clayton sparkle bass, but it is not. It says made in USA and the headstock has an M logo on it. I cannot find this logo anywhere. Does anyone know what this is?

Can I get some recommendations of where to bring a mid-70's Fender Jazz to get looked at and setup in Florida? I am looking for someone that really knows these particular basses and parts.

I am considering buying a 1975 Fender Jazz Bass for $3000. What things should I check to make sure it is all authentic? Is that too much money if it is all legit with the original case, manual, cable and plays good with very few scratches and no dings?
