I'm looking at a usa guild pilot 5 string bass. I think it's a 2007. I think they were bought out by fender in 07. How do you tell if it's fender or not? What's your opinion on the pilot? Thanks for playing!!

I used a Spector ns5crfm with emg dc's and a Aguilar preamp and was extremely happy, before that I used a ergodyne 4 string that did pretty good. The low b works better to me in church.

Or you have two kids, work 60-70 hours a week and had to sell your Spector ns5 for money issues. I've been playing for 20... That's the problem with these type of threads, people who have nothing to do just sit around trying to trash others to make themselves look better... Please mod.. lock...
