I bought an older Schecter studio 4 bass in pristine shape and it’s great, no complaints. I did notice that most of these instruments have a master and blend, but mine has two masters. Is this most likely a previous owner’s mod, or did they make older ones with this set up from the factory...

I realize this is a two year-old thread, but this would be an amazing modification for my instrument. Sorry for my ignorance, but I thought these pick ups were active…? I also read that you cannot run active pick ups passively. I seem to be getting a lot of contradictory information.
