Swollen pickle- it’s a real sleeper of a pedal. It has the chainsaw sound with somehow more articulation. I’ve used it on both bass and guitar with pretty solid results. Took me seeing 2 separate heavy bands rock these on their boards to finally give in and try it.

Just curious will you be using a hand drill or a drill press for this? if you are using a hand held drill, and the surface is flat I highly recommend using a drill jig to ensure a perfect perpendicular to surface hole.

Lol well my gear requirements may be changing drastically. An acquaintance I know has asked me to play bass for a black/thrash band, songs are already written and recorded. also according to a reply I got on Reddit Jay Pepito of end uses a darkglass A/O for his sound.

@monsterthompson I considered the fzz based on listening to Year of the Knife bass player Using a microtubes and another hyper fuzz clone the demon lung. I’m pretty open to suggestions. just wanna avoid buying and selling a ton of stuff just to get something that fits the vibe I’m looking for.

Lol so many replies to respond to. FortyWeight: is the curmudgeon good for fast attack? I keep reading it billed as a pedal meant for doom/stoner. Pastiki: I’ll definitely try out those settings! Personally still on the fence about it just because it has a super modern sound that brings it...

I took a look at the spite box but didn’t listen to the demo yet, also gave the singularity a listen. I think the band that it was made for sounds more like Portrayal Of Guilt style post hardcore with low gain guitars.

killer recommend with BSRI I’ve never heard of them but dig the demo. This looks promising.
