I did it with a Deltalite 2512 on a Cube Bass 100. The speaker cut-out needed some(alot) adjustment to fit the new speaker's thicker basket. As the 2512's frame was cast, it was thicker than the Roland's pressed steel one - this caused some problems with it fouling the grille. It did...

The Cube 100 puts out 100 watts into its internal speaker. If you add an extension speaker, it will put out 50 watts into each speaker. You won't get much more volume but what you WILL get is a fuller sound.

Roland Bass Cube 100 is my choice for rehearsals and small/medium gigs. Compact, well built, enough volume to compete with a loud-ish drummer and great sound; although slightly heavier (@ approx. 30 lbs) than the new ultra-lite combos. Very good DI too.

Does the PA mixer have a facility to supply Phantom Power for powered mics? If it does . . . switch it off! If its not that; get it checked out by an electrician pronto.

This is interesting! Its a great amp. I use a Roland Cube 100 for rehearsals and small gigs and often wondered how much difference adding an extension speaker would make. I was under the impression that the extra speaker didn't add any more watts, instead splitting the available power...

I've had a similar problem with certain venue's flourescent lights; some places its really bad but at others I don't have any problem at all . . . even using different amps . . . I don't let it worry me too much though it can be very annoying!
