I'm trying to find the bass I see in my head. Here are the requirements:
1) Short scale (30")
2) Humbucker (one or two is fine)
3) Chrome hardware (I HATE gold!)
4) Body style: Semi-hollow or chambered if preferred over solid, but without excessive neck-dive.
5) Price: I'm willing to pay for quality, but would never overlook well-made inexpensive ones, regardless of the make
6) Preferably a new instrument...I realize this might be a tall order
I have found a number of new basses that come close to this, such as the Epi Allen Woody and the two Ibanez semi-hollow short-scales, but they all have gold hardware, and I'd rather avoid that if possible. Thanks!
