Seems right. As I warned, I have basically no instincts with these instruments, and am not so very technically minded (even when its dead obvious). But this seems right. If there isn't one, then the cold war is officially a draw.

Definitely agree on that last point, so worst case scenario, it will beautify my life a bit. But actually my trepidation is that it may or may not have a truss rod. So, unless you're saying it definitely does not, I think the jury is still out on that one. I'm hoping someone who has wrestled...
