    Xvive U4 Wireless.

I also run the XVive U4 and found volume to be lacking. I've been using a Rodyweil RO-04 Mic Preamp inline with the monitor mix from the mixing board and find it has unlimited volume boost for my CCA and KZ ear buds using the U4 now. Rodyweil cost is about $100. You can boost the dB coming...

    Non-Bartolini MTD Super 5 Upgrades???

I know there's an upgrade (via MTD) for the pickups, preamp, hardware for the MTD Super 5. But, has anyone found a non-Bartolini (pickup/preamp) upgrade for the Super 5? And if so, are the replacement pickups compatible with the series/single coil/parallel switches, or are the MTD and...

Wireless In Ear Monitor sounds too thin

I decided to run a separate bass feed from my Boss GT10-B as I find when I use ALL instruments/mics in one feed that it sounds fine when we're setting levels during sound check, but when ALL instruments/mics are playing during a song that the bass signal seems to fade volume wise a bit. I run a...

Wireless In Ear Monitor sounds too thin

Ear buds are functioning as designed from other sources. My Sansamp crapped out on me a while back so it's currently not in my rack. Also, I've sold the PSM200 and am now using a MiPro 5G digital IEM system with my KZ ZS10S ear buds with aftermarket tips. Last night at a gig i tried this: I...

Wireless In Ear Monitor sounds too thin

I have used the direct headphone jack on front of the unit with no difference. I run it in MONO mode as I'm only using the left XLR input and want sound out of both left and right buds. I believe if I were to run it in STEREO I would only get sound from the left bud, but not both. My drummer...

Wireless In Ear Monitor sounds too thin

Is there some sort of In Ear amplifier (box) that can run between the Allen & Heath sound board and my In Ear transmitter (Mi-Pro) to beef up the low end easily and on the fly while gigging? I use the Qu-You app which has an equalizer, but so far no matter how well I seal the buds in my ear...

    MiPro MI-58 Drop Out Question

I am mostly curious about the "pairing" function that is at the tail end of each three groups of transmission bands and how it differs from syncing up with a given band/channel. Is it better for locking the transmitter and receiver together in trying situations than just choosing a given...

    MiPro MI-58 Drop Out Question

We have emailed back and forth on this a few times and he's going to check around for an answer. Only happened at the casino. Other venues it works great and has good sound quality. I am totally wireless with my ears and instrument so not planning on using my ear bud cable in my gig bag any...

    MiPro MI-58 Drop Out Question

When I turned the unit off and back on the signal returned for a minute or so.

    MiPro MI-58 Drop Out Question

This past Friday I did a gig at a local casino that I assume has quite a bit of WiFi transmission on it's property. I have up to this point had zero dropout issues with the MI-58 and have been and continue to be impressed with the functionality of this IEM system. I realize there is a large...

Wireless In Ear Monitor sounds too thin

Haven't tried the IEM at home with just bass signal. Was thinking after last nights gig, that I will try using a single channel seeing I have the Qu-You app on my phone now. Sound tech showed me how to add/remove everything that is on the mixer. Sounds like a promising direction to head in...

Wireless In Ear Monitor sounds too thin

So, at last nights show I used the Qu-You app and ran my bass thru it's own dedicated channel from the Allen & Heath board to my channel one on the PSM200. Sounded okay at best. We pushed up the low end signal with the app (sound guy uses an IPad which he can also do it with) and it did make a...

Wireless In Ear Monitor sounds too thin

I go Sansamp XLR out at 0dB to channel one of PSM200. I go Sansamp 1/4" out to input on front of Genz Benz. Genz Benz does not have XLR in (Shuttle Max 12.0).

Wireless In Ear Monitor sounds too thin

Not sure on how this would be run without looking at the setup. Currently I run a Line 6 G890 to a Boss GT-10B effects board to a Sansamp RBI to a Genz Benz Shuttle 12.0 to a Fender 410 cabinet. The affected/unaffected outs on the Samamp are XLR so I would have to see how this would all connect.
