I think the pre amp board has the tube on it. The main board is the larger one. I had to replace the main board with the H revision. I didn’t touch the preamp board. the bad chip is in the U2 slot. The board had noticeable burn marks around it.

I think you want to get to revision H, as I think they solved most of the issues with that revision. However I wouldn't unless you have to, my revision C00 lasted a really long time. If you have to switch it out, the boards aren't that expensive (relative to a new amp), and I switched it out...
