Hi, just jumping on an old thread here. I have bought a Jazz bass with the pots and neck dating it to 71. The pickups look all original as far as I can see but they only have a 3 digit code on them, the numbers 542 on both pickups. I was expecting a 4 digit stamp. Has anyone seen this before...
