    Current Setup:
    1983 Fender Squire J Bass (SQ serial #)
    and I go thru a Bellari MP 110 preamp into the board
    and sometimes use a compressor.
    Gigs and Ensembles:
    I am in my reformed first band, Dreamland Choo Choo...check out our website or go to cdbaby.com
    Previously Owned Gear:
    My first bass amp (back in '67) was an old Ampeg B15 portaflex with the built in dolly. I used to play an old Univox Beatle Bass copy...that I got for $90 back then....that was a mellow and deep thumping rig...miss them....
    Influences and Teachers:
    My first teacher was Ronny Ford of Billy Vera's Blue Eye Soul Review back in Eastchester NY. My favorite bass players were/are Paul McCartney, Chris Hillman and the studio player who played bass on Mr. Tambourine Man by the Byrds...those notes started it all for me (some say it was Chris other say Carol Kaye or Hal Blaine (The Wrecking Crew)?????
    Hobbies and Interests:
    write songs, play guitar and some keys and I teach college philosophy courses.
