I have thought about these (isn't this the Bass that Warwick stole the "Streamer shape from") the neck looks pretty wide compered with the jazz Bass...(i might be wrong about that though) For looks ,i deffo prefer the Jazz bass ( not that i would base my decision on looks) :) Cheers.

Good point .... I like many Slap tones but the one i'm digging at the moment is the Marcus Miller tone. I love the tone but not sure that i like the feel of the fenders that much (the ones i have tried). What other basses might get me close to this tone for around £1000 (question mark)...

Thanks! ... what i need is to win the lottary so i can buy them both! I need to ponder some more :) The inconsistency in build quality of the premiums is a concern,yet i havn't read a single bad thing about the Prestige. One more question,..are soapbar pickups generally quieter (no clipping)...
