Anyone have any recommendations for what power amp would be best for running bass from an axe fx 2 into a cab (possibly two in the future)? My budget’s around $1k aud ($650 USD). The main one I’ve been looking at is the GT1600FX.

In a couple of weeks I'm going to buy a Hartke LH1000 amp head. I want to run the amp through a 410 cab. I am having trouble deciding on whether I should go with an XL series 410 or a Hydrive series 410. I would appreciate opinions on this.

I've gathered from all of these replies that I should get: -the amp -the furman (maybe a cheaper one) -maybe a compressor (if so one that's better than the alesis) -A good DI (possibly a sansamp bass driver DI pedal?)

I've been looking at investing in a 5 string bass guitar, and after doing some research I've decided on an Ibanez SR505. Does anyone have an Ibanez SR505? Would you recommend getting it? Or should I invest in a different 5-string?

Thanks man heaps man, I'm only 15 and fairly new to music (been playing bass for about 3 years) so I'm not very experienced in soundgear. The rack case I'm looking at has wheels on it so weight shouldn't be too much of an issue.
