More articulate and alive i would say. The Darkstar is not as hot as the original PU but still hotter than i expected. It was a difficult way to get the right tone from the Darkstar for me. Because of my deep tuning (A# drop) the Darkstar acted like an absolutely uncontrollable beast together...
