The idea just hit me like a ton of bricks... since I removed the phase switch on my T-40, I moved the output to the top of the bass. I'm relatively interested in giving this a try, wiring it up KIND OF like a Ric and running the neck and bridge pickups to seperate amps.
Can anyone help me out with a schematic for how I could wire this up so that, without taking away any of the functionality of the tone controls? I just glanced at a Ric-O-Sound diagram, and apparently that uses a stereo output jack... I'd like to simplify things by using two seperate mono jacks, but will I need a switch to select between:
A) Both pickups to one jack
and
B)Each pickup to seperate jack ???
Or can it simply be wired that by plugging into ONLY jack X OR Y, I get both pickups to one amp, but plugging into BOTH jack X AND Y, I get the two pickups to seperate outputs?
Is there a simpler way? Maybe hardwire them to seperate outs, and just get an AB/CD pedal with a blend?
