Which Flats for MM Old Smoothie Stingray?

I've had a few Smoothies, the bass that is. And sure, it's a little bit more laid back and chill than say the retro, but it's still a Stingray. It's a pretty awesome bass. I think you'll dig it. I sure did.

Which Flats for MM Old Smoothie Stingray?

GHS Brite Flats. Then go get some KFC, eat it then play your bass, repeat several times and wait for it. Make sure to exercise in between

    eq pedal recommendations

Get either the Empress or Whirlwind Bass 10. The Whirlwind, even if not on, gives your entire signal chain a polished sound

String spacing: How much difference is one mm?

Right, that's why builders build in different spacings. Because it matters to their buyers. If 1mm didn't matter then it wouldn't matter between 20mm and 10mm. Are you telling me you couldn't tell a diffrence? Well it's just 1mm, then 1 more, then 1 more, never mattering from 1mm to the next...

String spacing: How much difference is one mm?

I like an 18mm 5 string. I can definitely feel the difference between that and 19mm so I say it makes a big difference. I can still play a 19mm spacing but much more comfortable on 18mm

For Sale Shaw Audio B-150 All Tube Bass Amp B-15

Love the sound of your B-15 but wish it had more power? How about a 150 (consevatively rated) watts!? This amp is based on the B-15 but with much more power and quality components. And with the mid shaping knob, much more versatile. There isn't a bad sound with this amp. 6sl7x2 in the pre...

Anybody else came to terms with the fact they're just not fan of effects?

For the most part I'm not. But as I learn more cover songs outside what I normaly try to learn I find myself wondering, how do they get that sound? I often find either 1 a pick or 2 some kind of effects. I have the HX Stomp so that covers anything I need. Also, a slightly overdriven sound is...
