    Thanks Gar Bear, yes I've tried another channel on the desk ... Still got the problem... I do take the same power supply for all outboard kit that is patched to the desk.... But tonight I reduced the input gain to the desk from around +15db to +5 db and its reduced to an acceptable level...

    It's started a really loud hum which goes when I unplug it from the desk anyone any idea what's wrong or come across this before???? I plug straight into the unit and from the peavey unit straight into the desk.

    I use Velcro on all leads, they all stay seperate and are easy to find from the box just a small strip say 15 cm long works for me .
