I think that the Big Block precision is a great bass! Solid construction, fast neck (compared to my Spector), great bridge much more performing than standard Fender bridges and all adjustable. The preamp running at 18v is a little bit humming. Maybe, you could replace it with a Aguilar OBP 2 SK...
