Fully agree to both. Andy Rourke's one of the few pick players I really like (that part on "Barbarism Begins at Home" - oh my). And John Deacon's consistently great, with an incredible sense for catchy bass lines. Just think of the "Under Pressure" riff: That was good for *two* hit singles.

Carol Kaye played a lot of those Beach Boys bass lines. He did write them though

It's a great bass! I'm still amazed by how good it sounds. Really comes through very well in the mix, too. The DR Black Beauties really fit very well - I like them much better on this one than the Elixirs.
