Thanks! Funny thing is it’s an SVT amp modeler setting on the zoom b3n pedal through a Fender Rumble 40 practice amp. For the home recordings I just use simple quick setup instead of my good stuff, but that pedal does get some cool tones.

Best Bass I’ve done that made it into my band. I have other slap stuff probably better. But this has chords, solo (tasteful not super complex) and uses almost every section of the fretboard. Love the tone I got too.

Interesting. That is how my band writes almost all of its songs. Sometimes it happens on the spot. Sometimes someone brings a riff they had worked on before. This gives us a feel for the song and a foundation. Then we work on structure and adding parts. I LOVE free-form jamming.

That’s the one I have. I was considering upgrading pickups, but honestly I get some pretty great tone out of it.

Hear ya. Studio is night and day when you get the right stuff or use a pro.
