Yes SUHR! Calling all Suhr players.. Post em'

It is a broad 2 band, the same frequencies I have used since the PS days and the bass is the same as the old TCT but a hair lower. There is a lot of boost on tap, +-20db. You should never actually need all that but it is there for fun.

Yes SUHR! Calling all Suhr players.. Post em'

Well I actually started out making more basses than anything else. Currently I agree our offerings are slim for bass players but we will change that very soon. Currently we are only an original J shape and thickness with vintage radius. OK.... so tell me what you guys want to see in the basses.

Where can i get a Suhr/Fender Preamp for a jazz?

That was a 3 band EQ, actually not my favorite. I tried to get them to go with my 2 band. Either way we could sell you one except I don't have the stacked pots so if you want that direction you would need to supply the pots. Custom Audio Electronics.. any love?

John Suhr designed the 3+ and they did make a bass version that was killer. The bass player in Toto used one for many years. You can reach him at the Suhrguitars website

    Suhr Classi J Bass Review

The Suhr preamp in my Bass has more range than any other I have tried and it is VERY pleasing, Usually the Bass is boost only +18db and the treble is +-18db. His J pickups kill as well, aparently the magnets are exactly the same as they were in 1960 from the same company. He also designed the...

Who makes the best Jazz bass?

I have a Suhr J with active electronics, fine bass. Lifetime warantee. I think out of that list, he is one of the only builders who actually makes his own necks and bodies pickups and electronics and paints his own product. Maybe Fodera and Nordstrand do as well. Not that it really matters but...
