Going to see a used pa system about an hour away this weekend 600 watt amp two 200 watt cabs

Keep in mind that the half stack never goes past 3 usually around 2. our drummer strugles to be heard over 3. The bass amps are never turned up enough to sound overdriven. And the other guitar amp never goes near 5. Truly i think just about any PA system would be better that the two guitar...

But would i be able to pull it off for practice and eventually like less than a month buy one or two larger powered speakers?

Would i be ablr to use the Phonic Powerpod 820 / S710 PA Package? it's only 200watts and a little out of my price range but i think i could do it and next time i get paid i could buy some powered speakers separately

I found a decently priced Peavey XRD 680 Plus powered mixer. Does anybody think it seems ok or any information on it like tge wattage and what kind of speaker i should look into? Thanks again for all of the help

I was just at guitar center and i think i will buy a single powered speaker for now. (so nothing becomes "unuseable" in the future) there are two 15" powered cabs with horns in my price range. One is a harbinger and one is an american audio would either of thses be decent?

Yeah! do you hqppen to have links to any good ones that would be right for me and in my price range? And yes this would be primarily for vocals (and maybe acoustic guitar sometimes)

How about The Phonic Powerpod 620 Plus? Looks decent with fair reveiws on musicians friend. Could i get this thing close to a drumset volume if placed at head level. And if this one is good what speaker "stlyes should i look at in order to get the best sound/volume. Lile ohms and watts ect.
