When should I start worrying about not receiving my Bill Lawrence Wilde pickups?

Well, I based my thoughts on looks, I underestimated..... My missus is very good at the "that sounds nice dear" routine. Anything to placate me. So when she makes a point of coming downstairs to tell me "wow, that's Crystal clear, I really didn't expect that" I know not only did I make the...

When should I start worrying about not receiving my Bill Lawrence Wilde pickups?

It's been a hardish week at work, 4 nights away from the family and 65 hours work between 5am Monday and 5pm Friday.... So getting home and finding a package waiting for me was nearly awesome. . Just have to wait until tomorrow morning before putting the p46 in (thought it prudent to not do it...

Will the Aguilar Tone Hammer help me?

Split before the di and feed the second tail to an in ear wireless monitor, but use open rather than bud type phone to allow the bleed in. You always play the same room? Always stand in the same spot? Try moving to the other side of the stage, might be stood in a natural trap...

A Poll - Stock Pickups vs. Replacement Pickups....

I have bought 2 basses and built 1. The two i bought were pretty well sold to me before they got plugged in. They felt good. My playing doesn't warrant a £1000 instrument. One has the stock in it, the jp is going to get replaced, but only because i needed a p pup for my build and the p46 isn't...

When should I start worrying about not receiving my Bill Lawrence Wilde pickups?

Could we put this to bed now guys? Ive viewed this thread as a support group. We know, and most accept, that there will be little (if any) updates about production. So we come here, comment and the community puts its arm around our shoulder and reassures us. So please, lets cut the negativity...

How to set up a pedal board.

Id consider the comp and the od the other way around IF the od reacts well to dynamics and you utilise that. Im looking for a tube type od to use as "more dirt", i want it to react to how im digging in. It will go before my buddha chakra that at the moment sits infront of my joyo British...

the infamous -- chain my pedals query

Some of the pedals will react to playing dynamic, putting the comp infront kills that. Then again, the comp can be an effect rather than action, that would also dictate a position.

When should I start worrying about not receiving my Bill Lawrence Wilde pickups?

A n y w a y..... I'll get my P46 when i get it, not before, definitely not later and im under no doubt that I'll be very happy. I hope those wishing to buy these pups in the future reads this and weighs up quality v needed time. These are not for those in a rush, by any stretch of the...

Tbf, i think its more about the being refunded rather than getting the micro he'd ordered now. He didn't cancel the order, just complained about the moving lead time.
