I can do basic set up but was curious if I needed to get the nut filed and frets leveled. With your advice, I'll wait it out and get more experience with the bass first and see if I really need it later on. Thanks for your input!!

I was also self taught on the guitar I wasn't bad, but I definitely was not good. I learned bad technique as well and didn't learn music theory. This time around will focus on technique and music theory.

I ended up getting the Acoustic B50, it was on sale for $189.99. only little regret is that it has no XLR or loop ports. I guess it'll do for now until I get an idea of what I want later (Still debating if I should return it lol) Sounds great though!
